catch of a lifetime

A few surprises and some Classic City connections made Brian and Ashley McCann's
December 2007 wedding an unforgettable event.

Long before he became the starting catcher for the Atlanta Braves, Brian McCann was
just a new kid in town with a crush. After moving from West Virginia to Georgia, Brian
met Ashley Jarunsinski at Hull Middle School. When the two started dating the
summer after their freshman year at Duluth High School, it would become a union that
would last. The couple maintained a long distance relationship while Ashley attended
Auburn University for fashion and business, and Brian–who was drafted by the Braves
right after high school–traveled across the country. After becoming engaged in
October 2006, the couple wed in a ceremony full of surprises last December.
