Elegant Salute

The Friends of the Georgia Museum of Art hosted the 11th biennial
"Elegant Salut XI: A Hardhat Salute" on Saturday, November 8, and
raised nearly $100,000 with the help of ticket sales and event sponsors.
Money raised from the gala will fund exhibitions and future
educational programming at the museum. More than 225 guests
attended the last major event to be held in the museum before its
temporary closing for renovations lasting through 2011.
