Growing up on a farm in nearby Rayle, Ga., Brett Glenn has always found beauty in the outdoors. “I literally grew up in the middle of nowhere,” Glenn explains. “So I was always cutting stuff for Christmas, hanging out with my dad...going against the grain.”

After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Art in Landscape Architecture, Glenn began her career on St. Simons Island. “I worked with a landscaper on a crew. It was a very humbling experience.”

Shortly thereafter, Glenn returned to Athens where she met her husband. She worked with a few floral designers and then became the in-house floral designer for the Athens Country Club for several years. With the goal of owning her own business, Glenn purchased European Floral Design in 2016 from Magdalena Williams. Today, Glenn has become one of Athens premier floral designers. “I really enjoy working with people and developing that personal connection for what is a truly special weekend for a bride,” Glenn says.

Regardless of the type of arrangement you’re looking for, Glenn does it all – from weddings and events, to centerpieces for a small dinner party or just a simple bouquet to send to a friend. “I love the creativity of working on a piece,” she says. “Our arrangements our not fixed, we use a variety of things to give our pieces lots of texture and movement. It’s alot of fun.”
