The Scoop – Support Breast Cancer Awareness and Female Empowerment with These Products
By Jennifer McKee
Every October, a bevy of great products that donate money to breast cancer research hit the market. While this is hardly a complete list, these are some of our favorites, and includes everything from health and beauty products to human and canine fashion, even oysters. Unless otherwise noted, these products are available through the end of October.
Betsy Lavender-Lemon Bar
Zum’s decadent Betsy Bar is made from goat’s milk and combines lavender with lemon essential oils to relax stiff muscles. It’s named in honor of Betsy Medina’s battle with breast cancer, during which she used Zum products because of their healing and moisturizing properties. For every Betsy Bar purchased, Zum donates $1 to Turning Point: The Center for Hope and Healing.

Frenchie Bulldog
Pooch parents can deck their dogs out in pink for a good cause: 100 percent of the Save the Ta-Tas cooling bandana goes to the Dr. Susan Love Foundation. An innovative design, simply soak the cooling bandana in cold water and wring it out – the light mesh fabric stays cold for as long as it stays wet. One size fits most dogs–not just bulldogs.
