Classic Style with Hable Construction

Sisters Susan and Katharine Hable founded their design company, Hable Construction, in 1999 with the goal of bringing practicality, sophistication and timelessness to all of their textile work. Since then, Hable has expanded their studio in Athens, Ga, to create custom designs, furniture and fine art with the help of partners and collaborators like Garnet Hill and Soicher Marin.
In the 21st century, the Hable sisters have found themselves to be leaders in textile design through their colorful, hand-drawn patterns and traditional screen-printing methods that have become a staple of their aesthetic.
All of Hable’s products are made by masterful artists, artisans and their lovely partners. Their traditional screen-printing is done in an old New England Factory as well as a North Carolina factory that has produced furniture for generations.
There are many different tote styles and designs on Hable’s website that would make the perfect Christmas gift. Their totes are also great for a chic
night out or a trip to the farmers market in the spring where the handmade bag can be filled to the brim with fresh fruits and veggies.
