Georgia Club Foundation Announces 2022 Christmas Tour of Homes

After a four-year hiatus, The Georgia Club Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Georgia Club, is bringing back its annual Christmas Tour of Homes, with proceeds benefitting The Sparrow’s Nest and The Oconee Area Resource Council.
The one-day event, held on Sunday, December 11, is designed to put you in the holiday spirit and it just might provide some decorative inspiration as well. Guests will tour five tastefully decorated homes each with their own unique style ranging from a stately Colonial Georgian featuring white washed cedar shake singles giving a distinct New England feel to a comfortable modern Southern farmhouse designed for entertaining with ease.


The tour ends with a stop at the Holiday Market where you may purchase unique items such as handmade jewelry, original artwork, homemade baked goods and more.
The tour, which began in 2007, has become an annual tradition for many area residents while assisting area non-profits in need. This year’s recipients, The Sparrow’s Nest is a Christian ministry center assisting neighbors in crisis with the most basic of needs to include food, clothing, laundry and showering facilities and other social services. The Oconee Area Resource Council identifying the needs of the community and assisting individuals by bridging the gap.
