Marathon for Miracles
Partake in this year’s UGA® Miracle annual Dance Marathon fundraising event February 24 through 25. The Dance Marathon is a weekend-long event that brings together the University of Georgia and the Athens community. Activities span throughout the night and include speakers, dancing and families sharing their stories.
UGA® Miracle is the largest student-run philanthropy at the University of Georgia, raising over one million dollars each year for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, specifically the Scottish Rite’s Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.

Need plans that can also occupy the little ones? ScreenPLAY! is an auditorium completely designed to keep young kids entertained with a play area and playground. Guests can arrive 30 minutes early to play and enjoy music and entertainment on the big screen before the feature presentation!

PONKO Chicken is now part of Athens! Opened in August, experience this “east meets west” Japanese fusion restaurant’s award-winning chicken tenders. Located at 529 Baxter Street, PONKO is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, order on the app for pickup, take a seat inside or on the patio!
